I was just attempting to reload some .308 but the primers wouldn't go in. For brass, I have Black Hills Match. The pocket seems to be too small. I am not having this problem with the Winchester brass. The primers are Federal 210. I measured the pockets and the black hills was about .004 smaller. Any suggestions?

You may use RCBS primer pocket swager

The tool is also available from other vendors.

Maybe it's a dumb question (I'm a little new to reloading), but does that tool work for brass that does not have the Mil crimp?

I`ve ran into this in the past. The problem I found was the pockets were at min tolerance and the primers at max. A new lot of primers or a new batch of brass always allowed me to use the components.
