Do you need new springs for mag extensions?

I'm going to get Pearce +1 and +0 mag extensions for my G36. The stock bases are fugly IMO and I think having a +1 would be nice for the spare mag.
My question is, has anyone needed to also get a stronger mag spring for their +1 or does it feed just fine using the factory spring?

I will take this silence as a "no" with a side of "why do you even need to ask". :D

I'm late here, but to answer the question, certainly no need for a different spring for +0 base plates and no for the +1 too.
I think the Glock +2 base plate doesn't even require a different spring.

Yeah, I put the Pearce +2 extender on my G26 mag, the instructions didn't say anything about changing out the mag spring. FWIW, the mag spring in a G26 is the same as the 15-round G19 mag...not that it helps you with your G36!

Thanks guys, shortly after posting this I placed the order anyway without a spring and it came in today. Glad to hear I don't need one but still can't wait to go test them just to make sure... I love new gadgets n things!
