How can one legally obtain a post ban weapon? Can one form a corporation where it is the corporation that owns the weapon? Can the corporation be of anything? Also how much would it cost for say a legally obtained post ban H&K MP5?
Thanks!

Do you mean a form 4 firearm? If you're referring to "post ban" in the common vernacular, it would mean, for example, an AR-15 configured with a muzzle break instead of a flash hider, no bayonet lug etc., in other words, go down to your local friendly firearms dealer and buy one.
If you mean "pre-ban", you can still own it with no strings, it just costs more.

Have a lot of money, (MP5's and M-16's were around $6 - 8,000 or so last time I checked and very hard to find) a lot of patience and a very clean police record with no problems or issues in your past.
Any qualified person, assuming that they are legal in your state, (They aren't in mine sadly) that is willing to pay the $200 transfer fee and file the paperwork and wait, can buy one, as far as I can tell.
Good luck. I hear them MP5's make great squirrel guns.

The only way you can legally obtain a post-86 machinegun is to get a license to be a dealer or manufacturer of machineguns. The process is quite involved, and designed to prevent people who just want to have cheap machineguns from getting the license. Even then, dealers still have to get a letter from a law enforcement agency saying that the agency wants the dealer to demo a weapon for them before the ATF will approve a transfer of a post-86 machinegun.
Your only realistic choice at the moment is to buy a transferrable machinegun.
