Hi Guys!!

Can I use a j frame (smith & wesson snubbie) from a pocket holster in IDPA??? This is how I carry and this is how I want to train...but will they allow me...

Look for this to get moved to competition. In a word, NO. All firearms must be worn iwb or owb, no shoulder, cross draw or pocket holsters allowed. Now that is the national policy for safety reasons. A the local level, I've seen pocket holsters allowed for "side" BUG matches, usually when the RO knows the safety habits of all those around. Go to www.idpa.com for a full list of guns and holsters. I would think as a BUG it would be okay, but it would really depend on the ones running the match...YMMV
