Local gun dealer has a Volunteer Enterprizes Commando MKIII, Nickel plated (never seen a nickel plated one) with 3 thirty round magazines in 95%+ condition for $435 plus tax. Dealer claims it shoots just fine.

Local dealer has NEW 1927A1 Deluxe for $879 plus tax.

Either would be used for fun "plinking", no serious applications intended. Money is an issue but either gun will be held and not resold/traded anytime in the future.

BTW ... Guns'n'Stuff latest catalog has this pieced listed at $771.95 (item THT1) page 9. Pity the drum mags in there are limited to 10 rnds .... seems like 30 rnd stick mags way to go.

The Tommy gun is perhaps the most fun gun ever invented. My Dad has one that he lets me shoot from time to time. No recoil, high capacity mags, and it looks SUPER COOL. You can't go wrong with a Tommy gun...
