Now I am needing to find some loadings. Yes, I have my manuals, and I am not a novice to reloading. Just wanting to know what some of you all's favorite loads are.
My goal is a decent power 200-240 grain bullet around 1000-1200 fps. Whatcha got?

My pet load for my Anaconda is 23.4 gr of H110 behind a Hornady 240 gr HP XTP. Good accurate round that works well; a few years ago took nice 6 1/2 foot black bear with that load. One shot dropped him in his tracks at 30 yards. Once you get a chance to shoot that new gun let me know how you like it I have been thinking of retiring my Anaconda to the safe since the market value has went so high on them and getting the Ruger to hunt with.

I shot the gun. I shot it with a loading of 15.0 grains 2400 and a 200 grain RNL in a 44 special case. I shot it today. It was fun. A little stiffer than anything I have shot before, but not painful. Well let me say stiffer than any .357 Mag I have shot. Very accurate at 15 yards. I do not have a clue at how fast these rounds would be coming out of the gun. The barrel is 5 1/2" long.
I am not afraid of the gun and recoil. I would just like to get a good target load that you know you shot a big gun. I want to be accurate, and develop into the gun without developing a flinch. I would also like for this round to be good for hog defense when I am out on the farms. So a 240 grain HP at 1500+ is not my desire at the moment. Something a little more than a .45 Colt or a stiff .44 Special is right around where I want to be at this point.
Could someone give me an estimate of what a 200 grain RNL out of a 5.5" barrel with 15.0 grain 2400 would be moving at please?

What is your data from that load, G_T?

link to a recent thread with loads, mine are there
I've developed a nice round that groups beautifully in all my SBH's (7.5" barrels). It's a bit on the high end, but a tad under max pressures. Regardless, proceed with caution and build your rounds up responsibly.
