RWS makes some of the best ammunition around - you should be good to go

I have some, too. Shot about 75 of 'em through my PF-9 about a month ago, with no issues. They're ball (FMJ) rounds, though, so maybe not the best defensive load, but fine for range use.

Have heard good things. Slightly hotter and cleaner than WWB.

It's that good Swiss made stuff. I don't even mess with WWB anymore, that stuff is ridiculously dirty. The only dirtier is Remington UMC, or the worst of the worst... Wolf.

I love the RWS. Also am fond of the CCI Blazer ammo as I don't reload, and it's very, very clean. Can shoot 200 rounds of it and it has about as much residue left on the gun as 50 WWB's by comparison. RWS is even cleaner.

Enjoy it. It's great.

At my Wally the RWS sells for about $16 plus, $3 more than WWB. The best deal I found was a box of 50 Federal for 9.50.

I say go for it. With ammo prices the way they take any deal you can get. Happy shooting! :)

At 3$ more, which is chump change, it's well worth it. I think I'm going to stock up on some RWS if Wally around here has it.

It's a conundrum, really. On one hand it shoots more consistently and cleaner than the other brands (Rem and WWB), but is the cheapest. It's also nice because it's the only orange box in the case. However, I would like to see how well they do .40 S&W

The RWS ammo is 124gn & $12.97 a box at WW, Your more than likely feeling the more gn in bullet, I've shoot a box out of a couple of guns and they shot great. If I can't
find Federal I'll go with the RWS. ; )

Pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters add up quick. Three dollars chump change Iíll take it.:)

$11.95 a box at my local Wally World. I bought $100 worth this past weekend. Another THR member tipped me off about the stuff. Orange and black box, 124gr FMJ.

Watch out if you are shooting indoors. If your range uses a metal backstop they will not be happy if you shoot this ammo there. It has a steel jacket over a lead core which is then covered in copper. Some indoor ranges will not let you shoot it.

Test it out with a magnet.

All that said its good clean ammo loaded to NATO spec with 124gr bullet. Its more accurate and harder hitting than WWB but for strictly practice ammo federal is still the better buy at about 23% cheaper. It sells for $12.97 around here.

RWS at WW around here sells for $16.97 a box. WWB is $9.97 a box. I can't really justify the RWS due to price.

Federal 9mm is $9.47 at WalMart. The Federal arrives and promptly sells out. No issues with Federal. None with Winchester or Remington either. If you feel price is right by all you can handle. Local WalMart lifted 6 box maximum. No limit now.
