For a rifle with a groove diameter of .310" what size fmj bullet diameter should I use ? :o

.308 to .311 will work just fine by most accounts, but I will wait for the experts in that area to chime in.

Krochus has done a lot of work in that area.

Wouldn't it depend on the bullet profile? Would a boat tail obturate to the same extent as a flat base?
