Pro 2A cartoon

Does anyone else follow Samurai Jack on cartoon network? Great toon, and kinda surprising:what: , considering CN is an AOL time warner network. Any other toons out there (other than anime), that are produced domestically that are pro self defense???

I think you'll find that very few cartoon shows are actually made in the US. Many of them might be written here, but almost all cartoon shows are animated overseas.

is an amazing cartoon with a good message, at least the few times I've seen it.

ALL must fight to defeat the evil Aku!

ALL must fight to defeat the evil Aku!

And we must wear bathrobes & wooden slippers while we do it! :D

It, JUSTICE LEAGUE, & the Saturday Night Anime are the only things worth watching on CARTOON NETWORK now. Mostly, I'll stick to Boomerang (good, old-fashioned cartoons)...

How is Samurai Jack pro self defense, and does he use a gun?

January 22, 2003, 01:32 PM
Jack is single-mindedly devoted to defending innocents from evil wizard Aku, and typically does so via a great deal of sword action. He does not use a gun, but occasionally teams up with someone who does (like the Scotsman with a machinegun for a leg). Self-defense is a common theme.

Strong positive portrayal of heroism, humility, honor, and RKBA values.

Well, by that standard Dragonball Z is pro-2A too.

Unless, of course, I missed the episode where the government tries to ban Goku's Kamehameha Wave and Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon Attack.

"Now, Sir, that is an unlicensed use of Ki... and aren't you an illegal alien?"

Sealab 2021
Aqua-Teen Hunger Force
Space Ghost Coast to Coast

Those are the least PC cartoons on tv, now that B&B are off the air.

First episode of Justice League, had Superman disposing of every single nuclear device on Earth. Its when the aliens attacked that the Justice League had to be started.

Sounds like victim disarmament to me. We, the superheros will protect you. Disarm. :cuss: :fire:

"gargoyles" on disney channel. airs at 10:30 and on weekends midafternoon.
theres regular scenes of criminal activity being stopped, from robbery, mugging, even gang-rape and kidnappings. sometimes its the gargoyles who stop the crime, sometimes its cops, sometimes its armed citizens.

last nights episode ended with goliaths clan deciding that it was their duty to protect all of manhatten island, and the final scene was of a robber going back into a store he just robbed, the clerk says "you again? why dont you go somewhere else?"
robber says "umm, heres the money back, and can you call the police? i'm going to turn myself in."
clerk says "WHAT? why?"
robber says "well, six monsters just told me to."
