Just picked up my first new shotgun in 20yrs. I've been buying some very nice used guns in the past year. I bought this one with thoughts of shooting some upland birds and some clays.
The gun, Browning White Lightning 28ga. w\28" brls. Boy this is a sweet gun! I was pleasantly surprised when it came, to see some really nice walnut wood.
If it shoots as nice as it shoulders and swings, this is going to be a really fun gun to own. I may never shoot my 12's again....lol.
Just had to tell you guys, I'm excited about my new acquisition! :D

I had a roommate, when I existed in California, who slept with his favorite shotguns. The character used to lay out his favorites on his bed, sit cross-legged in the middle of them, and play with his "toys". Ya gotta wonder 'bout them fellas that likes guns (a little self-incrimination there).

Congrats and post a picture you cheap :eek: !

Excellent choice.

If they're Brownings, that may well be the literal truth.

The Superposed/Citori receiver scales down so much in 20 Gauge (same as 28) that you are dealing with a completely different gun from the 12 Gauge, and in all good ways. Enjoy!

I can admire shotguns without having to own them. But when I once played with a really nice-looking 20/28 combo Superposed in 99% condition, that a guy had inherited from his grandfather, I wanted that gun. Really. He, of course, isn't interested in selling. He ALSO really wants that gun.:D

Graet little shotgun and gage!
I have a SKB 505 28 ga, one of my favorite skeet guns and if I still hunted it would be a awsome quail gun.
I started out by buying a full case of Winchester AA's and I'm still shooting many of those same shells O/U very easy on them many many reloads.

Real bummer today, I had to go see my mom in the hospital today. She has been feeling pretty bad lately.
I'm hoping to get out for a little while tomorrow to try out this little gem. My buddy with a camera is away for the weekend, so I'm hoping to get some pics up on Monday or Tuesday.
I plan on shooting this gun for a long time. My body is getting pretty beat up from 30yrs. of carpenter work, so I figured this gun will be a welcome change from shooting my almost 9LB. gorilla 12ga. {yes Armedbear, it is a Browning..LOL}
I'm looking forward to shooting some Pheasant and Quail this fall. For now, some skeet and 5 stand should be a lot of fun! I may even try some sporting clays with it to practice for the up coming season.
