I'm thinking about replacing the magazine springs in my sig p245. I'm not sure they are ready, I just know don't know the age. would you just go back with sig orginals? Are there better replacement options? Its not like this a big investment and I really don't fire it alot I just don't want realiabilty to become an issue down the road.

Their age makes no difference, nor does leaving the magazines loaded, even for months or years. It is the cycling by firing the rounds that wears mag springs. With the relatively few rounds you indicated have been fired, personally I would not worry about them at this time. However, you can't put a price tag on peace of mind. Magazine springs are relatively cheap and SIG magazines are easy to disassemble to replace them.
