Oh and no I haven't seen one at the LGS stores Gander, Sportsmans, Dicks and some of the othe stores I haunt in E. Tenn and GA.

The Bodyguard 380 has not yet entered distribution. It was initially due in May but is now expected no sooner than July.
My BUG is an LCP with Crimson Trace Laserguard, but I'm still planning on getting one of these to evaluate. It has several features over the LCP that should make it worth trying, e.g. real drift adjustable sights and slide lock-back on last round. The external safety is not that important to me. The laser activation does not seem to be as convenient as the the Crimson Trace.
The street price of the Bodyguard, which includes the Insight laser, compares favorably with the street price of the LCP plus Crimson Trace Laserguard. I know of two places where you can place an order and/or get notified when these will be available.
Nutnfancy does a short review of the pistol on his youtube page. Worth looking at IMHO.

It is a good looking gun but If it costs almost $600 I won't be buying one any time soon. I would think next year they will come out with the non laser version I might be able to afford.

I haven't owned a S&W autoloader since I traded off my 659 9mm. I'd enjoy one of those little puppies though.

Yes, it costs $600 but if you buy an LCP at MSRP $364 and Crimson Trace laser at MSRP $209, you've spent almost as much. In other words, don't pay MSRP. Of course if you don't want the laser, there are plenty of cheaper pistols.
