Any suggestions for a good holster for my new Ruger GP100? Thanks in advance.

Google c5 Leather.
You may wait a bit longer than someone who has something 'in-stock' however, BigJim will custom-design anything for you.
His materials are excellent-grade, his leather craftsmanship is outstanding!
His lead time is 3-5 weeks, however it is well worth waiting for!
I personally have an IWB holster and had him make me up a belt. The leather for the holster and belt is about 1/4" thick, and the fit and finish is EXCELLENT! My automatic fits in that IWB holster PERFECTLY! There is no thumb snap on mine, however the fit of the gun into the holster is so perfect, my gun will NOT come out - even if I were running, jumping, doing summersaults, etc!
Also, very important - he is willing to work with you to "fine-tune" your needs and make up literally anything you should need!

I have the Galco D.A.O. Dual Action Outdoorsman Belt Holster and like it. It is not good for conceal carry though but if you can open carry it is great. I bought mine to OC in the woods, When I need to conceal I carry it holstered in this holster inside a small passport shoulder bag. It is a great holster for woods carry/open carry. I need to wear suspenders to keep my pants up though with the gp100 on my hip.:D

My GP100 is a 4 inch but I think they also make them for the 6 inch.

I like the holsters from Simply Rugged. Good solid working holsters.
They are at: http://www.simplyrugged.com/
I use their "Sourdough Pancake holster" for my 3" GP100.
Have Fun
