Question for Trausch grip users (Ruger SP101)

So I got a set of Trausch grips for my SP101 and the ferrule does not slide right into place beneath the hammer spring bracket (HSB). In fact, the ferrule is too large to fit through this opening.
Only by jostling and prying upwards on the HSB with the tip of the ferrule am I able to shove the ferrule all the way through the grip. But it's bugging me, because this raises the HSB (perhaps by 1/16") off its retaining 'tongue' on that one side (which means the HSB is also slightly cockeyed now).

So here are my questions:

Did any of you have a similar issue with the ferrule that came with your Trausch grip?

Did anyone get a ferrule that slid right in (as designed)?

Should I be worried about the slightly unseated HSB? (I have dry-fired the SP-101 about 150 times since installing the Trausch grips and it doesn't seem to be a problem, but could it become an issue with live ammo?)
