I've got a 38 Smith & Wesson special. Serial number is BRB20xx. Any idea how old it is?

Being that the SN is prefixed by 3 letters, it'll be a later gun (that started in 1980 for revolvers). As best I can tell, BRB is 1994.

PS:

Common practice for security is to X out at least the last two digits of your SN.
