I want to buy a gun from a guy is there any way I can look on the internet with the serial number to make sure its not stolding don't want to get caught up in a stold gun that would not be good thinks for your help.

If you're that suspicious of who you're buying from (sounds like you are suspicious) then don't risk it...Buy a gun from someone you're not wary of, or buy it from a store...

I don't know where you are at (and I think your spell check got confused) but here in Florida we use this:

Just input the serial and hit search.

Find out how much your local gun store charges to do a transfer. The gunstore puts the firearm in their book and transfers it to you. Later on down the road if it turns up stolen there will be a record of who transfered it to the shop to transfer it to you.

Chances are if it's stolen the seller will not want to do it this way.
