I'm looking at getting a gun vise for sighting in several rifles. I've checked out several in the $40-$60 range, which is about my budget, but they all seem to get mixed reviews. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you.

Sandbags for shooting (sighting in).
MTM, among others make good "vises" for woking on them in the $50. range.
For shooting, Caldwell has front & rear bags for less than $50.

Simple front rest with rear bag for sighting in, and a wooden gun cradle for cleaning, lapping rings, etc.

I have used a front rest like this for years -
