I'm currently looking for a 3X9X40 rifle scope. I don't want to spend a ton of cash for a rifle scope, but I do want something durable and clear for deer hunting purposes. I was looking at the Bushnell Banner. Anyone have an experience with this particular rifle scope?

I have one on one of my .22's. It's a nice scope for the money.
I personally think it's a better scope than the comparable Tascos, Simmons, etc.
They have pretty good customer service too. I sent one back a few years ago and they fixed it free of charge.

I have a 4-12x40AO Banner Dusk and Dawn on my 22 Magnum that's seen plenty of use. It's always held it's zero and has served me quite well considering the price. Contrary to the name, it's not very good for low-light stuff which is to be expected in the price range but I haven't had much of a desire to replace it yet.
Based on my experience with this one scope, I could certainly recommend it.

I own three Bushnells, all trouble free.
