The least expensive I've found are these two sites:

http://www.opticsplanet.net/lasermax-laser-sights-by-price-2.html

I'm sure you can find one that fits at one or the other.

I own a XD 9 service bitone. I purchased my lazermax from optics planet. At the time they were the best price. I have shot the XD several rounds with the lazermax installed with no issues. At about 15 to 20 yards, where the red dot is, so is the hole. I like it because it will let you know if you are pulling your shot while firing. A little pricey but is helpful when you practice......Joe

Got 3 of 'em-XDSC9, XDSC40, and P229R. :o

P229R was good outta the box-my original XDSC switch was a bit mushy (not a nice 'snick' when activating like my P229R). I finally got around to mentioning this to LaserMax after a couple of years when the new one for my XDSC9 activation switch felt better. They told me they had redesigned the activation switch and sent me a new one-it's much better than the original, but I still think the P229R switch has a crisper feel, and I think the XDSC units could use a slightly longer activation pin?

Anywho-one thing to watch for-don't know what's going on, but my original XDSC Lasermax (and the P229R) battery caps have stops on one end, but my new XDSC Lasermax does not! No problems so far, but it's not very reassuring to slide the battery cap on and have it slide off the other side without the stop present. You have to be a bit careful when assembling to keep the cap in place, unlike my first 2 units.

FWIW, when they sent me my replacement takedown lever, the LaserMax guy said they hadn't changed the battery cap, but since I have 2 units in an XDSC9 and XDSC40, and they have different battery caps...

Short version-check the activation switch to see if it's to your liking, and double-check the battery cap to see if you have one that slides 'til it stops, or slides right off the other side (no stop tab).

Got mine at Optics Planet-free shipping over $29.95-do a Google search for 'Optics Planet Coupon Code' (http://www.tjoos.com/Coupon/65931/Optics-Planet)for easily avialable 5% off coupons.
Just ordered a few things from 'em yesterday and used coupon code opiv5of.

Iff'n you're interested, might also check out the Streamlight Nightfighter w/C4 LED (http://www.opticsplanet.net/streamlight-night-fighter-nf-2-led-tactical-flashlight-88005.html)?
Been upgrading my lights and the Nightfighter is pretty impressive, 'specially since they lowered the price ($60 delivered with coupon code)!

Not as fancy/bright as some Chinese brands, but I wanted simple operation (during stress donchaknow), bright, rugged, and a doughnut for two handed hold with a handgun.
