Hey all-
So this post might belong better in the gun smithing section, but I thought someone here might know the answer also. I saw a few weeks ago a gentleman who had an AR 10 style upper receiver; that is it was chambered in .308, but it had been made to fit onto an AR-15 lower. The firearm had the magazine load on the left hand side of the firearm, and eject spent casings out of the magazine well of the .223 lower. The internals were essentially the same as a normal .308 upper, but rotated 90 degrees clockwise, except for the gas tube / gas key which was still on the top of the barrel / top of the bolt carrier. I didn't get to find out where he had either purchased the upper, or had it made. I was wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this, or have ideas on where one could be purchased. I've been scouring the internet to no avail so far.
Thanks for the help
Jake
