In addition to making up some 125 and 135 JHP rounds for practice, I discovered that my favorite bullet maker (Dardascast) makes a 125 gr lead RNFP. I was thinking that it would be fun to make up some 38+P (and hey, maybe some 357 mag now that I'm thinking about it)

Does anyone have any Power Pistol data for a 125 lead in +P? How about the same bullet with Power Pistol or 2400 in 357 magnum cases?

It seems a pity to waste jacketed bullets on target practice when lead alternatives exist, no?

You'll get a lot of unburned powder using PP in a .38 Special with a light bullet (but not as bad as with Blue Dot) Do you have any faster powders?

I like 4.0 grains of Red Dot with 125 grain cast bullets, but that's not a +P load. Do you have any Unique, Bullseye, or Herco?

.357 is another story. Power Pistol should do well there because the pressure is a lot higher.
