I was looking on ebay for the Magpul Angled Foregrip, and many of them are stating that it is only for airsoft type rifles. They have "PTS" for "Pre Training System" stating that they are not to be used on real firearms.

My question is, are these "PTS" versions knockoffs? They state that they are "Magpul", but I do not see anything about them "not being used on actual firearms" on Magpul's webpage.

Opinions?

Probably the ads are just tip toeing around Ebay's anti firearm policy, even though Ebay allows parts not required to make the gun fire.

I hadn't considered that. There are quite a few of them that do not have the PTS part on their auction. It just seems odd because PTS doesn't show up on Magpul's site.

Regardless, I plan on getting one of these because it seems to be something that would work best for me and how I hold the rifle.

I have one, got it from MidwayUSA online. I like it very much and probably will get one for my other rifle.
