Sight color is personal preference..I prefer a contrast.. Before you purchase make sure you have looked at TFO tubes..Tritium Fiber Optic... A lot of my shooting buddies have put them on their carry guns..They are brighter and very easy to acquire a sight picture in low light situations.. If you go the Ebay route.. Check the feedback of the seller..Make sure they are relatively new sights...

Tritium is a radioactive isotope with a half life of 12 years.

Green & Yellow Trijicon & Meprolite night sights have a 12 year warranty on the tritium still glowing enough to see them.
Orange and all other colors have a 5 year guarantee.

Now:
How do you know how old the eBay sights are when you buy them?
How do you know they aren't old stock from a store that closed 5 years ago?
How do you know the guy selling them on eBay doesn't put a new sights on his guns every 4-5 years and sells the old ones in the new packages?

This is probably not the case, but how do you know?

I would spend a little more and get them from Brownell's or Midway.
At least you know what you are buying is new stock with full tritium life ahead of it.

Got my last ones @ Optics Planet-free shipping over $29.95-Google "Optics Planet Discount Code" for easily found 5% off codes.

I seem to be getting more and more stuff from Optics Planet-DeSantis holsters, Streamlights, LaserMax, etc.

I thought 'bout going different colors for front/rear, but the Trijicon front sight is bigger/brighter than the rears (don't know if they've always been that way). My eye is naturally drawn to the bigger/brighter front sight-that being the case, I use all green.

BTW-Trijicons have the date they're made printed on 'em, so check 'em to make sure you're getting new stock.
I've got an old Sigma with Trijicons-12+ yrs old, and while they don't jump out at ya like new ones, they're still usable. Don't know that I'd pay the money to replace 'em yet?
