I have a No.4 Mk.II that I got from RON in PA. It likes a Hornady 150 grain spire point on top of enough IMR 4064 to give ~2700 fps. The rifle will do MOA at 100 yards with this load.
Btw, if you load for .303, it's best to neck size your brass to lengthen its life. The Brits liked to make their rifles with generously cut chambers, so that dirty or cruddy ammo wouldn't be a problem on the battelfield. If you have more than one .303, segregate your brass by rifle.

I got Greek 303 Boxer ammo on clips in bandoleers from AIM 4 years ago.
The ammo measures .001" or less concentricity, and it shoots like it.
My favorite 303 load is nothing I make, but that ammo can full of Greek stuff.

Hello. For my No.4 MkII, I use:
150-gr. Sierra Spitzer
45.0 grains IMR-4895
Remington 9 1/2 M primer
Frontier Cases
LOA 3.03" (That's easy to remember!)
Velocity from my rifle is right at 2600 ft/sec.
I also neck size only and suffer no insipient case separations. When I full-length resized cases, they would occur for the reasons mentioned in a previous post.

This load has served well last season as well as this one.
The load will do about an inch-and-a-quarter or so at 100 yards from a rest in my rifle.
Best.

Tested in a No. 4 Mark 1, unmodified military configuration - - -
Sierra Pro Hunter 180 Spitzer
43.0 gr. IMR 4320
Remington 9-1/2 primers
New nickel plated R-P cases
velocity (avg. of five shots) 2420 fps
Above is from a box label. I don't recall the SD or extreme deviation, but it was pretty uniform.
This load doesn't shoot as flat as the 150 gr. combos listed above, of course. My goal was to have a hunting load which closely duplicated trajectory of the MK VII military ball ammo, so as to shoot to the sight settings. I haven't tested this load beyond 250 yards, but it groups right in there with the ball. With a well-defined aiming point, I can do around two inches at 100 yards. Elder Son does a bit better.
As mentioned, above is in new cases. For reloads, I have a Redding neck sizing die, and I regretfully toss the cases fired in my sporterized No. 5 carbine.
Best,
Johnny
