Subject says it all, I was looking to get an FNP 45 at today's gun show and found one with three magazines for $560, black frame, stainless slide, but next to it was the Tactical model for $940, I like that the slide is cut and tapped to mount a Trijicon RMR dot sight and it has high profile irons as a packup, but I didn't particularly like the "brown tan" color. If its available in black I'll wait until I find one, otherwise maybe I'll go back tomorrow and pick it up.

No one talks about this gun, but I am seriously considering the tactical model as my first 45. I know that is sort of against the rules not to have a 1911, but I like the extra capacity and the ability to easily mount the sight.

My FN 57 and FNP 9mm both shoot very accurately and I am assuming this one does as well.

I have only seen the desert color, but I assume it is made in black. Glad I didnt go to the show today.

The black versions just hit the market, you should be able to find one soon.
