Has anyone had the little tooth that turns the shell plate break? Mine did, and I drilled a hole with a 6/32 drill bit and inserted a metal rod where it used to be.Hornady is sending a replacement free of charge, but my Cobb Job may work for a long time to come.

Have not heard of that happening... the pawl arm?
Did you have to force the press for any reason when the breakage happened?

I have heard of one other person on this forum having this problem. Hornady was quick to respond to the problem. There is a thread on this forum somewhere. I don't know what his problem was though. You are talking about the indexing tooth that holds the shell plate in the correct position?

Yes, it is the indexing tooth. Hornady is being Johnny on the spot with it.

Interesting. I can't imagine what would create that much force. Primer that wasn't fully seated?

It the part called a pawl? I broke a pawl somehow. I went and bought one off midway though.

Dude! Hornady would have shipped that thing same day.
I enjoyed the Blue Angels up your way over the 24th. Hot but good fun.
