How is at low light?

You mean the flash from the compensator ports? Depends on the ammo. Some is not noticeable, some is quite noticeable. I can't recall now which ammo brands/types were "flashier."

The compensated barrel DOES make a noticeable difference in recoil. However the increased muzzle blast/concussion bothers me. Others can't tell a difference in muzzle concussion. I hope to eventually trade/purchase a non-comped barrel for mine. Or better yet a 9mm conversion barrel.

I don't know how it is in low light, but I shoot it better than any other 40 that I've shot. I don't normally care for the snappy recoil of the 40. G23c certainly makes it very comfortable to make quick, accurate follow up shots. I don't own one. I shoot my buddy's.

I have a G20C and although it's not a .40 S&W I've noticed a nice difference in recoil from my buddy's G20. I also have a G22 and I'd say the G20C has about the same recoil as the G22 but with the power of the 10mm still intact. I'd also say my G20C is a more accurate pistol than the G22. The ammo I've noticed that gives off the greater flash is the less expensive stuff (Blazer, Win. Wht. box, etc.) I've not noticed as much flash from the others like Fiochi or American Eagle or UMC and it absolutely loves Independent and PMC stuff.
