Wow! Per the current issue it seems Smith and Wesson have come out with a new 627 in .357 magnum and it's an EIGHT SHOT!!

I have owned an eight shot 627PC for well over a year. I would say it was maybe over two years.

Maybe they been spending to much time with bottom feeders to notice that revolvers have made a few changes here and there.

Actually I received my PC 627 V-Comp in a drawing at the 1999 International Revolver Championship (prior to the idiot extortion law). I know the eight shots were available before that since I had in mind that they would be giving away a model I'd seen two years before that looked like the current offering.

Guess either Majic is right or they were trying to get the attention of people who don't otherwise read the magazine. Got my attention in that I wondered why they were raising a fuss over something that is almost a standard offering.
