Does anyone make/sell a modern day eqivalent of what was called 'buck and ball', a round fired from smoothbore muskets in the early/mid 1800's? I always thought it would make a good, all purpose social round for the 12 gauge.

It would make an interesting hunting load, wouldn't it? Slug or buck? just send both!

It's older than the 1800s. A combo load of one bore sized ball and three "Pistol Balls" was common during the Revolution in the Continental Army.

No current version, TTBOMK.
