Glock 17 gen4 mags in gen3 g17?

Can anyone tell me if gen4 Glock mags will work in a gen3? I found a good deal on some gen4 mags, but I'm not sure if they will work.

They will work.

The only thing the Gen 4 mags have different is an extra notch for the (now discontinued) Gen 4 reversible mag button.

Yes, I have some gen 4 G19 & G17 mags that work very well in my gen3 G19.

I have a couple new (gen 3?) mags that work fine in my Gen 1 G17. I thnk full compatibility goes both ways, from gen 1 thru 4.
