I haven't heard of it, but I am sure that it has happened.

I don't mean something like a gang banger w/ stolen mags in his gat...I'm thinking more like you go to the range w/ LEO buddies, go shooting, but somehow his range bag is left in your trunk. For whatever reason, you get pulled over & officer starts searching your car and low and behold, find a few LE only mags.
Or maybe you've bought a couple from a little old lady's garage sale and again, they're found in your possession by law enforcement. What ever the case, outside of being stolen mags, has the laws re: LE only mags been enforced?
I'm not asking because I want to break the law, I'm asking because I'm just curious what impact (other than inconvenience) the law has made.

Rog-o, I've seen posts about LE/Military only magazines and have never given it much thought. If memory serves me, they supposedly have some distinctive marking, so if you bought one at a gun show/yard sale/trunk of a car, you would know. Right?

I've seen LE-Only mags from a few makers & the marking are very obvious & permanent (no stickers to peal off). I know a couple guys that have older LE mags, but still have the markings. THeir thinking is that as long as they don't get arrested for something else, they won't be persued for a magazine violation. I'm thinking they're on a seriously flawed path to disaster.
