+2. Zombie Squirrel Gun.

I changed out the factory pistol grip full buttstock for a conventional buttstock, which allows me to reload right handed (something I have always done with a shotgun). Love the sights, great for slugging the squirrel's out at 150 yards.

Getting an M1 Super 90 Tactical was a dream come true for me. Probably my favorite gun too.

I have a Beretta 1200, which is a slightly different rebranded M1 super 90. Magnificent weapon, i love mine.

I have been shooting trap with an old modified 1100. I recently put a nice trap stock on it. My plan was to get a nice trap gun but here I go and get a tacticool shotgun. Im a sick man...

1K, I grew up hunting quail and dove with either an Ithica 37 Featherweight (my grandfathers shotgun) or my Remington 870 Wingmaster, both in 20ga. Hunting, I would reload with my right hand holding the forearm in my left, with the muzzle down range or down. I would shuck the rounds in the gun without tilting the gun sideways. Hunting Quail in south Texas ment 3 shots and a quick relaod, beacuse the birds were always coming up fast. So, I got used to reloading right handed with the butt in my shoulder and the barrel pointed down.

Shooting my Benelli with the pistol grip stock, I found I had to rotate the gun 90 degrees sideways to shuck the shells with my right hand into the gun. I reload and operate the Benelli like my Remington 870, so the pistol grip would get in my way on the reload. I am not compromised with the conventional stock IMO, and I can still rip it with the Benelli. Heck, I shoot reduced recoil slugs and buck, along with #6 and #8 bird shot in the 3 Gun Matches. Even with the field loads, my Benelli runs perfectly. The only thing it doesn't like is shooting from a bench.

The AR is getting a new barrel and has a new scope (1X6), but the Benelli and Glock are staying the same.

mine kicks so hard it's not remotely funny. :what:

It's an inertia operating system -- if it kicks hard there may be something wrong with your gun. I'd replace the recoil spring immediately -- in fact, try the Wolff extra-power replacement spring.

Well, you may hate the law but you still have a nice gun at a decent-enough price for the deal, I must say. They are, indeed, great guns. Like a beautiful woman though, it isn't worth the trouble unless you are taking advantage of it -- hope you are enjoying!

Imagine what it feels like on the other end....

My 1200FP also kicks just as hard- same mechanism, and at 6.4lbs it is very light. I just put a pressure activated laser on mine last night, just because. >:}

Just got back from the range. Holy crap! This thing kicks like a mule with 3 inch mag slugs! No fun at all...but I love it!

That is why God created reduced recoil slugs! For your Benelli!

I fire full power rounds in mine.

In any kind of a zombie squirrel attack i assure you that you're not going to feel the recoil at all. Though once your adrenaline stops pumping afterwards, you'll definitely feel it then.

I just fired 26rds of various 2 3/4" mag 00 buck and 3" mag slugs the other day from my Beretta 1200 (rebranded M1S90), and oh yeah, i had a bruise the next day.

LOL....

I did shoot a couple boxes of the Fed tactical reduced recoil slugs and 00 buck the same night, and it is much more pleasant to shoot.

But i prefer the jackhammer magnum rounds. 12 count 00 Buck Remington 2 3/4" magnum being my favorite. :)

I have a Winchester 1895 lever in 405 Win with a steel buttplate. It felt pretty much like that.

Someone mentioned springs but this shotgun had only one mag through it before I got it and has been in storage for some years. So Im pretty sure I got the regular dose of recoil. I used the #4 choke which is Improved Cylinder?
