Reload hlep for 6.5x47

Has anyone tried the 95 vmax with 43 grns of varget with the 6.5x47. I saw on a forum that someone was running that on a 260 as there varmint rnd.

Probably not a good idea.

The 6.5x47 has a smaller case capacity than the 260 Rem. If you were shooting the 6.5 Creedmoor, it might be feasible.

I recommend calling or emailing Hornady for load data for using the 95gr V-max in your 6.5x47.

I did and they said they have no load data for that round.

I have tried some loads of others I have found and those are running around 41.5-42 grns of varget.

I have personally tried a 39 grn load with mine and pretty good accuracy and runs approx 3180-3200fps.

Just wondering if runnig it up to 43 grns would work cuz that would push the 95 approx 3500fps. I know the case has the capacity to handle it. Just didn't know what kind of pressures would develope.
