Killed a bear this evening, decent boar for around here but no monster, I am happy with him. Pulled the trigger at 6:10 and just walked in the door at 12:00. Walked about a mile in behind a gate, sat to glass a unit and spotted him at 189 yards watched him feed and about 15 minutes later I decided to shoot him. One shot at 137 yards rolled him, high shoulder shot dropped him where he stood. I am totally beat.

Nice work, looks to be the coast range-west side. That bear is still good eatin size, much bigger and they start to taste like hell.

Congrats. I chased some on this side of the hill this weekend but could not close the deal.

Nice looking bear. I have gotten skunked the last 2 years in the Trask unit so it nice to see that somebody is finding them.
