Can anyone take a quick look at their reloading books?
I'm looking for some specifics on loading data for the Hornady XTP 9mm 115 grain bullet (including seating depth!). I only have Winchester 231 powder. Any data would really be appreciated I cant seem to find much on line...

Thanks

So, you want me to buy the books, and also look up the loads for you too?
O.K.

Hornady #6 lists 115 XTP at 1.075" OAL:
WW231 powder
4.1 Start = 1,000 FPS
4.7 MAX. = 1,100 FPS
They list several better powders for that application that will give you 1,150 to 1,250 FPS.

Lyman #49 lists 115 XTP at 1.090" OAL.
WW231 powder
3.5 Start = 959 FPS - 20,700 CUP
4.9 MAX = 1,253 FPS - 32,100 CUP

Thanks for the data and the dig!

Seriously, usually I find the data on Hornady's website or Winchesters, but I don't know why there isn't much on this particular bullet (too new?)

Load for the bullet weight. Who made it doesn't matter.
Hodgdon's site gives 4.7 to 5.1 of Win 231 for a 115 grain jacketed bullet. 1.125" OAL.

Hornady's website or Winchesters, but I don't know why there isn't much on this particular bullet (too new?) No, too old.
It's been around for many years.
Hornady only has load data for bullets too new to be included in it's latest reloading manual, if that.

Winchester powder is sold by Hodgdon, and they are showing several brands of bullets in different wieghts.
The 115 they show is a Speer Gold Dot.
