Are these primers and powder's still good?

So I bought a box of 100 primers and 2 cans of powder a about a week and a half ago. They ended up getting left in the car and sitting in there until today just in a Walmart bag. They have been in the car about 11 days. It's rained and changed temperatures, but they were sealed in the car. Should this stuff still be fine? I'm planning to load up some hunting loads and wondering if this is fine for them? Or if I should use it for range only loads and go buy more for hunting? I don't want to chance it not going off when hunting.

Yes, they are still fine.

Both the powder & primers probably already set in semi-truck trailers and hot humid warehouses getting to where you bought them far longer then they set in your car.

There's no difference between leaving primers and powder in a car, and leaving loaded ammunition in a car. I've had boxes of ammunition in my truck for several years, and when I finally decided to shoot it up, it shot just like when it was first loaded.

Load them up and good luck with your hunt.

Hope this helps.

As the other two posters said, its OK. Think about the temps and rigiors ammo goes thru before it gets to the solders weapon on the battlefield. Its 130 degrees over their with no problem with the ammo.

The only time I have had temperature make any difference with powders is when I actually go to shoot the bullets. I have had normal loads become over pressure loads after I left them in my truck and shot them while too hot to touch.

As long as the packaging is undamaged and intact they'll be fine.

Nothing left here to do, load them up and shoot away!
