I did some muzzle flash testing, and think you will enjoy it. I took a 230 grn. Winchester White Box load, a 200 grn. acp +P load, and another load I call a .45 ultra. All were shot from a 5" SA 1911.

230 grn. load: 828 f.p.s./350 f.p.m.e.
200 grn. load: 1055f.p.s./494 f.p.m.e.
185 grn. load: 1518f.p.s./946 f.p.m.e.

185 grn. load: 1518f.p.s./946 f.p.m.e. Be sure and post pics of your damaged SA 1911 when it happens pretty soon too.

I would call BS on that too, to be honest. At least not too many times.
