CZ75B SA Trigger job. Worth it?

Ok, who's had a trigger job done on their CZ75B SA? Do you feel it was worth it? My trigger has a lot of slack, then a little notchy feel right before let off. How much was your trigger job? I'm not liking the fixed sights either, might need those changed out as well.
TIA

Try searching the THR and TFL archives for "cz*75b*sa trigger":

In particular, look for posts by me or my alias on TFL, "smithz". I've commented on both my CZ-75B-SA trigger job, the potential "perfect" 75B-SA trigger job, and how it compares to a non-"B" model CZ, e.g. the 85 COMBAT.
In summary, to answer your questions:
I had Mike@CZ-USA do it, and he replaced the plastic trigger with the steel "Champion" trigger. Definitely worth it. In the "CZ-75B-SA Trigger Job" thread linked above, I describe exactly what I had done.
The take-up (or "slack") on a "B" model cannot be totally removed as it acts to operate the firing pin disconnect. In the hammer channel on the rear of the slide, watch the inner right-hand side as you take up the slack, and you will see a little lever move up. This is the firing pin safety being deactivated. This actuation distance also sets a minimum on the reset distance: it cannot be made shorter or the FP safety would not operate properly. Finally, once reset occurs, there is still take-up (again) because the FP safety must operate on this second shot. On my SA, there is no take-up besides what is required to operate the FP safety.
The "creep" at the second stage is fixable, however, and the trigger can be made lighter.
The "PT" night sights that CZ uses are so/so. Not up to the quality of Trijicons or Meps, but arguably better than the factory fixed sights.

Zak,
Thanks for the detailed info. I guess I'm spoiled by the 1911 single action so I wanted the CZ to be the same. I'm gonna contact CZ and see what they can do for me. Thanks again.

Mike is the guy to talk to. He can explain exactly what is possible with the "B" model CZ trigger system.
I am extremely happy with my CZ-75B-SA trigger job... accepting the inherent limits with regard to take-up and reset. If you get a nice light second stage - I asked for about 4 lbs, it might have ended up less - you'll just blast through from the take-up during rapid fire.

The newer SA's don't have an adjustable trigger at two points.
You have a screw for Overtravel, but not take-up. Putting
in a Champion steel trigger is the way to go. Then you can
have a real sweet trigger.
MIKE can work over a B series so you can't feel the Firing
Pin Safety working. I wish to someday (again)have a CZ-USA
tuned SA, but with a steel trigger installed.
Maybe, even all the Champion parts, as Von Fatman had
done to his 97B, er 97B-SA. Steel trigger, champion sear
(no FPS) and a Champion hammer.
Probably the finest 97B that i know of.

CZF, are you saying that all initial take-up and post-reset take-up can be removed? I believe that is not possible, based on my conversations with Mike@CZ-USA. The FPB has to be actuated on each trigger pull, so there must be some movement.

I've been thinking of sending my 85 Combat to Mike to be done up with all Champion parts. What's the wait/turn-around like?

Best to call.
My 75B-SA was turned around in 34 days last fall. When I talked to Mike a couple weeks ago, it sounded like it would be longer, "a couple months".
