Well, it was issued today. I don't actually have it.
It'll be 6 - 8 days before I receive it in the mail.

I sent the app to them on Jun 16th. They say they received it on Jun 24th, so the total time it took to get it was about 2 months. I'm a first time applicant and a resident alien so it might have taken a bit more back ground checking than for most of y'all.

I'm stoked. I had an unexpected $600 expense last week but I may just suck it up and get my K31 with my next check anyway. Or maybe a Swedish mauser. What's a little short term debt, anyways?
Gotta jumpstart the economy, right?

the longer you wait more guns will be C&R classified... handle the debt, then save, then see what's been added to the list.
or do what we all end up doing and buy like crazy, your choice.

Desidog, I called the ATF. They gave me the status of my case and the Examiner who was handling my app. I don't have the ph no right but will look for it tomorrow and will post it or pm you

The number for the ATF is 1-404-417-2750.
They can tell you the status of your app and if its been assigned to a particular examiner (its by geographic region).
The numbers for the various examiners are here:
