I am considering trading for a Huglu TS 870, 12ga O/U i cannot seem to find any information on this gun. i was able to locate a variety of TS models but non of them looked like the gun in question. it has Some scrollwork (minimal), metal is jeweled inside where it breaks open , screw in chokes and is double ribbed. Decent wood furniture.
Most all of the models i have found online for sale are DU commeratives or with far more elaborately scrolled etc. I know Huglu imported for several different manufacturers but no marks on the gun reveal any clue as to the origin of this gun. Most of the ones i found for sale are from 350 to 800 depending on bore and level of finish. I would greatly appretiate any information any of you may have regarding this gun and its value. Thanks in advance!!

Huglu is the town in Turkey where the main Huglu factory is located. That factory made guns for several companies, including DeHaan and CZ. There are a few other Turkish factories as well.
I would suggest, if possible, for you to not only shoulder it, but fire it before you buy to make sure you like the way it handles, balances, trigger feel, etc. Quality can be circumspect (hit or miss).

Thanks!! some additional research makes me think this is a Yildiz. i found a Huglu marked one on armslist at 399.00 (used) and a yildiz model which is nearly identical nib for 400! i have a couple of CZ models woodcock and bobwhite) and i agree the quailty is extrordinarily varible. its a cheap shoot but would be good for a bum around gun or perhaps dove etc.

+1 on Huglu being a great field gun. I have a 20 ga OU and it is my favorite grouse/woodcock gun. I think nothing of busting swamps, cutovers, and popple stands with it. BTW I have over 2000 rounds thru mine and it shoots like new.

Could be a gun brought back by someone in the military. There are shops with a whole bunch of different varieties of Huglu shotguns and you just go through and pick out the one you want. The price usually includes shipping/importing through a dealer in the US but there are some that just get brought back from what I hear.
They used to be crazy cheap and there were guys that brought back a whole bunch as some kind of investment but the Turks have gotten wise to that and raised the prices.
