I was wondering if anyone owns one of these? I know it has the VTR shaped barrel with the 5R rifling, and I know the VTR rifle does NOT have a floated barrel and is NOT pillar beddded.

I was wondering with this model if they have included a pillar bedding and a free-floated barrel?

With internet prices in the mid-$1600 range, I would hope so, but wasn't sure.

Thanks for any info in advance!

I would be willing to wager a bag o' Krispy Kreme doughnuts that the stock has aluminum bedding blocks and the barrel is floated...;)

That is Bell & Carlson "Adjustable Tactical" stock. It has a full length aluminum framing to the stock, full aluminum bedding block, and weighs literally around 5.5 pounds. Check them at www.stockysstocks.com Here is the specific link: http://www.stockysstocks.com/servlet/the-108/mcmillan-a5-stock-tactical/Detail

I have that stock for my M700 Police .308 Win. Very nice stock!

The blocks on those things aren't perfect. They're mass produced like anything else. I would still have the action bedded and I would make sure that the barrel is floated as well.
