A friend give me a Bersa 22lr, that he said jammed badly, so I'm like Heck Yeah! Free Gun!! Well after cleaning the filthey little thing, I decided to load the mags, and hand cycle some ammo through it to see about the jam issues.....Bad idea!! Pointing in a safe dirrection, after 3rds feed and extract without issue, the 4th round fires opon chambering. I wasn't expecting that! specially when I was in my basement without eyes and ears!! After closer inspection, and from looking at the fired shell casing, I knew now there was a raised edge on the breechface, enough to fire without a firing pin strike. A file, sandpaper, and 45minutes later, my free pistol is ready for the range. Gun reminds me of a Makarov, and built pretty well, now to go see if it still jams;) While not desireable to hand cycle live ammo through a pistol, always point them in a safe dirrection, just incase!!!

Glad you got that Bersa running right. They're pretty neat guns.
