musick September 2, 2010, 12:56 AM First, sorry, I did search. The search feature timed out and gave me no threads.
Looking to add to my inventory and the best price I could find (minus shipping which of course will vary) was $179 per 1K rounds of Golden Tiger through thearmory.com.
Any better prices out there?
Thanks in advance!

Big_E September 2, 2010, 01:26 PM Wow, what an amazing site. How come I didn't know about this sooner?
Kinda lame that AIM and other places that have great deals require you to be 21 to get rifle ammo shipped. I get most of my pistol ammo through Midway because you only have to be 18 (weird loophole, I don't know how that passes federal law). Oh well just a few more months till my birthday then I can get 1000 rounds of golden tiger from AIM for $179.

The federal age restrictions only apply to FFL holders. AIM deals in firearms and has an FFL. Midway doesn't.
hawmanai September 2, 2010, 10:09 PM Brass case for almost same price.
YUGO 7.62x39 AMMO NOW DOWN TO $199.71 PER CASE OF 1260 RDS !!
Beautiful, shiny, brass case ammo, with a pure copper jacketed, lead core FMJ bullet, packed in a sealed tin inside an original wooden crate - all for just $199.71 per crate, (when you get 2). That is only $0.158 per round! Only need one crate? It is still just $209.79, that is $30.00 off our previous price.

Do they also tell you that the M67 Yugo is corrosive as all hell and will rot your guns unless you clean them promptly?

Walkalong September 4, 2010, 08:10 AM It says so in the ad. Many people shoot "corrosive" ammo with no problems. Naturally you must clean after shooting.

briansmithwins September 4, 2010, 12:05 PM Corrosive as hell?
I've got rust started in 45 minutes after shooting Yugo M67. It was raining at the time. OTOH, I live in Oregon and if I didn't do stuff because it's raining there would be a good 4-6 months of the year down the tubes.
I now try to start cleaning the rifles while they are still warm from shooting. BSW
mljdeckard September 4, 2010, 02:28 PM Porterdog, I just bookmarked that site.

+1 on starting while still at the range.
When I shoot corrosive ammo, I try to squirt everything down with windex and let them drip dry as I pack my range bag to go home. I clean as normal (hoppes and CLP) after that. I have 8 rifles and pistols I shoot corrosive ammo in. One of my SKS' has been rattling around in my gun safe for 20 years w/ no ill effects of thousands of rounds of corrosive 7.62x39.

Ignition Override September 4, 2010, 04:13 PM Also, ammoseek.com.
Have not checked ammoengine, but 'seek' seems to have more choices in certain calibers.
Many people avoid the corrosive Yugo x39 because not only the bore/bolt face need cleaning, but the gas port, tube, piston.
The less the gun is disassembled, the less wear and tear and chance of the spring quietly popping out:o of the SKS and flying across the room.
Rail Driver September 4, 2010, 04:24 PM Cheaperthandirt.com has a good price on non-corrosive 7.62x39 right now.
musick September 20, 2010, 10:32 PM Thanks all.
Best I found was $200 for 1260rds:

Yes, I know its corrosive.
Average Joe September 21, 2010, 06:15 PM Corrosive is no good, send all your corrosive ammo to me, and I will dispose of it properly.
