Well I just put on layaway and get to pick it up next week a S&W1911. I checked it out well and fit and finish seem to be great. Does anyone have one and how do they like it. Any problems. etc.:D

Actually, I have one, still breaking it in, one issue with fully chambering rounds when slightly dirty. I expect it to clear up within 1k rounds.

It's a tack driver, fun to shoot and I know that it will be well worth the wait for the break in period to be done with. It seems that S&W steel is slightly harder than average and therefore takes longer to "settle" in.
