Team Shooting?

I'm trying to think of a new competetive league for my local indoor range, and have come to realize that there doesn't seem to be any team events in the shooting sports.

Perhaps I'm just unaware of some team events? Maybe there is a reason that there aren't any. I've kind of put together a simple variation of a bullseye competition with a three man team, but I thought I'd get some feedback here about the idea of a team shooting event before showing my idea to the range.

Any ideas?

I know that there are some Bullseye matches that can be scored as team events, though I'm not completely sure how that works as I've never participated in one.

Also, The Sportsman's Team Challenge is a shooting sport that is completely devoted to the concept of having shooting events with two- and three-man teams.

I have shot sporting clays as a team event.

The ITRC and PRTC were/are both 2-man-team events. The SPSC-W was a 2-man team event.

Most team events are simply x number of shooters whose scores for the match are totaled.

I guess you could have a bullseye team in which Tom shot smallbore, Dick shot centerfire, and Harry shot bigbore. Or maybe Bob shot rapid fire, Carol shot timed fire, and Ted shot slowfire.

I shoot BPCR metallic silhouette in which the shooter and the spotter are definitely a team. Scores are not totalled, though. Your spotter does his best for you and you do your best when he shoots, but it is every man for himself in the results.

Palma is shot with a coach making wind calls for the team.
