A while back I picked up a Mossberg catalog from a sporting goods store to pass some time on a road trip. There was an article in it about a contract the company had won to provide NY state troopers (I believe, can't remember exactly) with a new vehicle mounted shotgun. Some of the features were standard stuff like detail paid to reduce vibration at the mount etc... but I noticed that they went into some detail about the barrel they used. It was a short 13" with a Parkerized finish and thicker than normal barrel walls.
Does anyone have any more info and/or pictures of this shotgun handy? I lost the catalog and the Mossberg website and Google aren't providing much help.
