Looking for a place that has the Streamlight TT-2L in stock (need a couple stocking stuffers). Places I have delt with before are out of stock. Anyone have experience with Bright Guy (http://www.brightguy.com/) ? They have them for just a couple bucks more than what I was expecting to pay.

Nope. They have a good price advertised, I'll call them tomorrow and see if they have any in stock.
Thanks

Stick with bright guy (excellent rep). Bocraptactical does not have a good reputation. They have horrible customer service, will charge your CC even if the item isn't in stock and won't return your e-mails or calls. How do I know you ask? Well it happended to me and about thousand other folks...

Thanks for the feedback on Bright Guy, was wondering about them.
BTW, if our resident Surefire supplier sold Streamlight I could just add them to my pending order... hint hint!

I do, but thought it rude to push my own company while giving advice. My prices are the same as his...
Thanks,

botach does have the best price. My advice, go to cases4less.com, send them an e-mail with a link to botach and they'll beat the price by 10%. That's where i got mine.

Went with Bright Guy. Called them yesterday, they had them in stock and shipped them same day. They are currently out for delivery with UPS. Can't beat that - next day service. The prices were not the cheapest, but acceptable, and I wanted them in a hurry.

You made a good choice in going with him. Quality service is worth the extra money IMHO...

When things go well with Botach, they're okay. When things go South...well, let's just say I worked in customer care for years, and I would be firing their people left and right after the way I and others have been treated.
I bought a 2 cell lithium for Byron, and a 3 AA for myself. Both Byron and I have Executive series lights already, so these are primarily for use out at the hunting cabin (wandering around after nightfall, or for hog hunting- legal in GA w/ up to 6 volt light). Used cases4less.
The 2 lithium is definitely brighter, but the AA version has over twice as much LED life, while still having a very usable 40 lumen+ Xenon option.

Ah- forgot to mention- the AA version is too long for concealed carry. Some type of belt carrier or web gear is needed.
For any of you that don't have the Twin Task, and are considering them for "tactical" duties, I advise against. So far, these lights have seemed to be very high quality, tough lights, and the cost is certainly reasonable, but the side on/off button is too difficult to index under stress. Improvements definitely needed, if nothing more than some channeling, and a larger button. Tailcap operation would be best, though. I'll trade a tailcap switch for the nifty lanyard that currently lives there.
