Who do you trust for buying used guns (handguns) online? I am really only familiar with Buds.

I've only used GunBroker.com, the auction site, and have been very happy with the results.

Oh, and I forgot, I've actually bought about 6-8 handguns right here from THR classifieds. :neener:

To expand on what TexasGunbie said, local/regional forums. I like FTF transactions. Outside of that, most of the well-run firearm specific forums have classifieds, and many have feedback mechanisms. Last gun I bought was from the classifieds on TheAKForum.net; seller had over 40 positive feedbacks and the transaction was perfect.

Another vote for www.gunbroker.com

Look at the sellers feed back. The more positive sales they have had, well you get the picture. Common sense goes a long way. There are a lot of FFLs on that site as well as individuals. You can get a pretty good feel for the seller by looking at what is posted on prior sales.

For anyone living in Florida, some terrific face-to-face deals can be had at this site: http://www.floridashootersnetwork.com/phpbb3/index.php
However, you can't get involved with the buying and selling until your 30-day probation period is over. Basically, you register, then wait a month.
You can't even view the classifieds until your probation is up.
Be that as it may, it's still my favorite gun sales site.

It depends greatly on which types of used guns you are looking for, of course, but this site gets a thorough prowl from me every week:

Care to expand on that? Just how did they "cost you money"?

Nothing wrong with Bud's.

Gunbroker.com has been a good place for me for years.

GunsAmerica.com - not so much.

I like JG Sales... good folks to deal with. My brother has purchased several guns from them as well, and a few friends of mine order all the time.

I like Aimsurplus.com for milsurp and ammo... Armslist has some good deals sometimes, but you have to weed through the BS ads and the shops that post in 20 different states.

Most of my used guns come from forums, honestly.
