I'm having a hard time finding holsters for my Taurus Model 450. Can anyone help me figure out if another revolver is identical to this one such as a colt or smith. Maybe then I can find a holster. Thanks.

This is a new model and I cannot think, offhand, of any other gun with equvalent dimensions. I am sure that almost any of the custom holster makers could fix you up, but you would probably need to send them the gun.

This gun has been around for several years now and I have seen holsters for it in the Natchez catalogue (Bianchi and Galco definately have holsters for it). It seems to be about a K-frame or L-frame size so holsters that are generically for medium framed revolvers with a 2" barrel should also work. I haven't tried it (I don't yet have a 450 or 445) but I'm guessing that a holster for a K-frame or L-frame 2" should work (but I'd try it with the cheapest holster I could find first).

A K-frame will fit the 450. I've had mine in quite a few K-frames, unfortunately, my hammer is bobbed so I'm screwed since most K-frame holsters are thumb break:cuss:
Anybody know of a compression fit holster, preferably a paddle for the K-frame? I know there arent many and I'm waiting to hear back from taurus cuz I asked them about a new hammer.

Bulman advertises it makes holsters for the 450. Their website is at:

Probably other makers have holsters, too. Kramer at:

shows holsters for the 617 which is the 7 shot .357 version of the 450.
