Is it a dash-1? Looks like it's recessed. Was the 66 ever pinned?

Looks like a fine shooter to me.

Recessed, not pinned. The earlier model 66 no dash and some 66-1's were pinned. Not all 66-1's are recessed

Just acquired pinned and recessed no dash 2 1/2 mod 66..

Just got my 66-1 out and took a look and it's pinned and recessed. It's a very good shooter and the gun I take when I go up in the hills.

Any idea of when this was made. I think I've had it for 8 years or so.

Recessed, not pinned.

Pretty cool to find a transitional piece like that, especially in that condition. Beautiful gun!

Great find!! I think you're gonna love this gun. I put a set of target stocks on mine (after this picture was taken) just to see how it felt and liked it so much in my beefy hands that I left them on. Really helps with felt recoil. Great feel, great look. Just a joy to shoot.
